ACH stands for Automated Clearing House and offers electronic financial transactions in the United States. The NACHA Electronic Payments Association governs the operating rules of the ACH network. ACH is a batch-processing system that electronically transfers money to and from your savings or checking account. Some businesses use this method for processing transactions such as bill payments, online shopping and direct deposit payments. ACH processing requires a fee for each transaction and small, medium or large businesses have the option of accepting ACH payments.
Obtain an ACH payment processing account. Navigate to an online ACH payment processing company such as ACH-Payments or ACH Direct.
Locate and click the "Apply Now" button on the web page.
惠ete the application by providing information such as your name, company name, email address and contact phone number. Some company applications require additional information such as your business address and the number of projected monthly ACH transactions.
Submit any supporting documents such as bank statements, a voided check for your business account, any paperwork showing that you are a viable business. Obtain a list of required documents from the ACH processing company.
Click the designated button for submitting your online application and wait for an email or other form of communication with instructions for completing your application and obtaining an ACH account.
Wait for approval, set up your account and offer ACH processing as an option for obtaining payment.
